The 2024 Ball had an estimated 3,000+ guests that contributed in excess of 3,200 toys and gift cards. This year we expect to assist many local charities in providing toys and gifts to children and families in need.

The Directors of the Orlando Margarita Society reflect a cross-section of Central Florida's business & professional community. Our common bond is the simple desire to create a great party for our friends and foster a better Holiday Season for the less fortunate children.
Each November, we gather for one of Central Florida’s most memorable holiday traditions — an elegant evening that blends celebration, friendship, and generosity. Behind the music and laughter is a single purpose: bringing joy to children in need.
Our Mission
Since 1983, the Orlando Margarita Society has united friends and neighbors from all walks of life to celebrate the season by giving back. Each guest at the annual Margarita Ball brings new, unwrapped gifts that are distributed to local children who might otherwise go without. Every toy and gift card represents hope — and every smile is the true measure of our success.
Why It Matters
- 100% of every contribution goes to local children. There are no administrative costs or salaries — every gift goes directly to where it’s needed most.
- A tradition of generosity. What began as a small holiday gathering has grown into a Central Florida institution, with thousands of toys and gift cards collected each year.
- A community effort. Our Directors — an eclectic, diverse cross-section of Central Florida — personally underwrite and cover the full cost of the Ball so that all donations go entirely to the children. Though we come from many backgrounds, we share one simple goal: to help provide gifts for those in need.
How Invitations Work
Receiving a physical invitation to the Orlando Margarita Ball is more than an honor — it is an expectation that you will attend and participate in our shared mission. Invitations are limited and valuable because each one represents the opportunity to make a difference.
If you receive an invitation but are unable to attend, please return it or ensure it is passed along to someone who is genuinely interested and able to support the cause. This simple act helps ensure that every invitation serves its purpose — bringing more gifts and joy to children in need.
If you were not originally invited but would like to attend, you may request an invitation by emailing invites@orlandomargaritasociety.com. Invitations are extended at no charge, thanks to the generosity of our Directors who cover all event expenses.
Attending the Ball
- Bring at least two new, unwrapped gifts — one for a boy and one for a girl.
- Suggested value: $50 or more per gift. Gift cards are especially welcome for teens.
- Include batteries or accessories if needed. As a child, you probably remember that feeling of getting a toy you could not use
- Dress: Black tie. (Ladies: formal evening wear. Gentlemen: tuxedo or dark suit with tie — no tie, no ball.)

The Ball
Admission for each couple is by
DIRECTOR'S INVITATION ONLY,
(REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION)
and a contribution of Christmas toys.
